December 2008 - Clara Mouriz and Joseph perform a recital in the 'Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia "Leonardo da Vinci"' in Milan following a busy Autumn of concerts at various music clubs and societies around the UK.

December 2008 - Joseph performs in the 'Samling Showcase' at Wigmore Hall alongside Sir Thomas Allen, Malcolm Martineau, Kate Valentine, Madeleine Shaw, Nicky Spence and Ronan Collett.

December 2008 - Joseph gives a Wigmore Hall recital for the Park Lane Group with clarinettist Andrew Harper. They perform works by Schumann, Bax, Busoni and Horowitz.

November 2008 - Joseph accompanies the masterclasses of Petra Lang for the Mahler Society and RCM at the home of Hazel and Vernon Ellis, and Sally Burgess for Live Music Now at the home of Bob and Elizabeth Boas.

October 2008 - Joseph will partner Ann Murray DBE for the launch concert of the 2009 Leeds Lieder+ Festival in May.

October 2008 - Following his work with internationally renowned soprano Amanda Roocroft at the Samling masterclasses at The Sage Gateshead, they give a recital in Cambridge of works by Tchaikovsky, Debussy, Barber and Strauss.

October 2008 - Joseph accompanies Sir Thomas Allen and Royal Opera House Young Artists Pumeza Matshikiza and Simona Mihai in a private fundraising concert for the Samling Foundation at the home of Vernon and Hazel Ellis.

October 2008 - Julia Sporsén and Joseph receive a rave review (see Reviews page) for their performance in the Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham of Schubert, Schumann, Sibelius, Rangstrom and Debussy's Baudelaire Songs. Their performance was Joseph's prize-winner's concert having won the 2007 Yamaha Birmingham Accompanist of the Year Award.

October 2008 - Joseph performs Schwanengesang with Joshua Ellicott during the Oxford Lieder Festival's Schubert weekend. The other performances are given by Florian Boesch, Andrew West, James Gilchrist and Anna Tilbrook.

October 2008 - Joseph is invited to play for the re-opening concert of the Barber Institute of Fine Arts alongside fellow alumni of the University of Birmingham Judith Busbridge (of the Dante Quartet) and soprano Elisabeth Toye. Their performances are introduced by Dame Janet Baker.

September 2008 - Joseph will make his North American debut during the summer of 2009 with a series of concerts at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago having been invited to join the Steans Institute as a staff accompanist. The illustrious coaching staff will include Matthias Goerne and Christoph Eschenbach.

July 2008 - The Royal College of Music has invited Joseph to hold their Lord and Lady Lurgan Junior Fellowship in Piano Accompaniment. He will work the RCM's internationally renowned Vocal and Opera Department from September 2008.

June 2008 - As a result of a his work at The Sage as Samling's inaugural Pianist Scholar, Joseph will give a recital with Amanda Roocroft and has been invited to appear at the Wigmore Hall alongside Sir Thomas Allen, Malcolm Martineau, Kate Valentine, Madeleine Shaw, Ben Johnson and Ronan Collett in the Samling Showcase (December 5th). Earlier in the same week he performs at Wigmore with clarinettist Andrew Harper for the Park Lane Group (December 1st) before giving a recital with Joan Rodgers in Bedford and then Milan with regular partner mezzo-soprano Clara Mouriz.

March 2008 - Joseph wins Accompanist Prize in the Royal Over-Seas League Competition working with cellist Ashok Klouda. Gavin Henderson was the chairman and Simon Lepper the adjudicator for the accompanists.

March 2008 - Joseph accompanies Catherine Hopper in a shared Wigmore as winners of the Maisie Lewis Award administered by the Worshipful Company of Musicians.

March 2008 - The Tillett Trust awards Joseph a scholarship to enable him to compete in international competitions.

February 2008 - Askonas Holt very kindly nominates Joseph for the Geoffrey Parsons Memorial Award which he later wins. As a result Joseph will programme a concert for Wigmore Hall with Lucy Crowe, Clara Mouriz, Allan Clayton and Ronan Collett.

January 2008 - The Barber Institute of Fine Arts in Birmingham invites Joseph to give a recital with Cardiff Singer of the World Katarina Karnéus. They will perform Scandinavian songs and the concert (in January 2009) will compliment an exhibition of paintings called 'Nordic Landscapes'.
