Joseph gained his LRAM teaching diploma from the Academy in 2006. His work in education includes his posts at Cambridge University (College Musician – Pembroke College), as Staff Accompanist at Junior Trinity College of Music and as visiting lecturer of piano at Birmingham University. Alongside Katherine Allen and Caryl Hughes (mezzo sopranos), Joseph is an artist with Live Music Now! giving workshops and concerts in schools and to people of all ages and learning abilities including those with severe mental and physical disabilities. His work with Caryl has been featured as part of the Classic FM Music Makers Project. He has worked for the education department of Wigmore Hall, giving workshops to A-Level students on Spanish vocal music. As a Junior Fellow at the Academy he was involved in assessing the concerts of current students.
